BREAKING NEWS…. Tottenham and Aston Villa has shown interest in incredible PL star who has 12 league goals this season

European-chasing Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are seemingly keen to sign Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes ahead of the summer transfer window opening.

The East Midlands side might be heading towards relegation, but it shouldn’t hide the outstanding season Harvey Barnes is having in front of the goal.

But the former West Brom loanee still managed to net a brace to take his tally to 12 for the season – that’s probably why Tottenham have him on their transfer wishlist.

To put that into context, someone like Son Heung-min has 10 Premier League goals to his name this term, whilst Richarlison, a club record signing, only has one league goal.

But Spurs aren’t the only ones keen, Unai Emery’s Aston Villa want to add firepower to their forward line and Barnes’ name has got a mention – he’s only two behind the 14 goals Ollie Watkins has netted in the West Midlands.

Incredible’ Barnes deserves an England call

Given the fact that the all-action forward is involved in a relegation fight, it shouldn’t take the gloss out of the season he is having.

Micah Richards previously dubbed him ‘incredible’ (Daily Mail), well, that was a few years back and he has now taken his game to new levels.

The likes of Raheem Sterling were part of England’s most recent squad, but in truth, Barnes now deserves his caps.
