TalkSPORT pundits Jason Cundy and Dean Saunders were in hysterics after Jamie O’Hara claimed Tottenham Hotspur are missing Harry Kane.
Spurs suffered their fourth defeat in five games last night against West Ham United. They were unlucky to lose, but when you don’t take your chances in the Premier League, you will not win games. If Harry Kanehad played last night, he would’ve probably scored a hat-trick.
Jamie O’Hara says Tottenham miss Harry Kane
Tottenham started the season in magnificent fashion, so much so that nobody even thought about Harry Kane no longer being at the club.
The Englishman was undoubtedly their best player when he was at Spurs. Almost every good thing they did went through him, and losing him was a big blow in the summer.
Tottenham didn’t really realise that when they were flying in the first 10 games of the season, but their last five results show they’re definitely not better off without Kane.
That’s why Jamie O’Hara claimed on talkSPORT last night that Tottenham are missing the England captain. Dean Saunders and Jason Cundy, who couldn’t believe he said that, burst out laughing.
Tottenham would’ve been incredible if Kane was still there
Tottenham had nearly nothing to complain about in the first 10 games of the season, but following their last five results, it feels a little bit like a crisis.
However, perspective is everything, and without injuries to the likes of James Maddison and Micky van de Ven, their form probably wouldn’t be this bad.
Even with the injuries, Spurs have had numerous chances to win the games that they’ve dropped points in, which makes you wonder where they would be if Harry Kane was still at the club. The Englishman would’ve likely been the top scorer in the Premier League right now.
That just tells you that all Spurs need right now is a clinical goalscorer to reach that next level.
