Newcastle United still have multiple players they need to get rid of before the transfer window closes in less than two weeks.
It looks like Lewis Hall is going to be the last arrival of the summer, but that does not mean that the Magpies’ business is over
Once the defender joins the club, Newcastle will then turn their attention to moving some players on.
The three that stick out are Ryan Fraser, Isaac Hayden and Jeff Hendrick, who are all training with the reserves after being told that they are not needed at senior level by Eddie Howe.
Now the Chronicle has provided a somewhat worrying update about the latter two players.

According to the Chronicle, Newcastle are yet to receive any offers for either Hayden or Hendrick this summer.
They spent last on loan at Norwich and Reading respectively, and the Chronicle note that both sides snubbed the opportunity to sign them again. It is no surprise that the Royals said no to Hendrick, as they are now in League One and would not be able to finance a deal.
However, it is a major concern that with less than two weeks to go before the transfer window closes, Newcastle are yet to receive an offer for either midfielder.
You have to think that both would be strong additions to any Championship side, particularly Hayden. He was called ‘excellent‘ when he joined Norwich last summer, but his time at Carrow Road was ruined by injury.
Perhaps his fitness record is putting clubs off, but Newcastle are running out of time to find them a home and get them off the wage bill. At this moment in time, it feels almost impossible that they will leave the club permanently
