Frank has finally got his chance at a so-called ‘bigger’ club and it’s a great move for him. But his arrival in North London could spell uncertainty for Leeds United in the transfer market with the two clubs sharing certain transfer targets.
One of whom is Kyle Walker-Peters. Since the start of the year, Leeds United have been linked with Walker-Peters who’s set to become a free agent, though Spurs are also rumoured to be interested in what would be a return for the full-back.
Elsewhere, Spurs handed a new contract to Ben Davies before Frank replaced Ange Postecoglou. Davies is a target for Leeds and Frank will no doubt want to take stock of his new players before allowing any to leave.
Then there’s James McAtee. Leeds United have been linked with McAtee throughout the year too, though previous reports suggested that he’s something of a key target for Tottenham now as well.
With Frank having only just taken over, expect a slowing down in Spurs’ transfer business, which could be an opening for Leeds. But on the whole, Frank may make Spurs a more attractive destination for some of Leeds United’s proposed transfer targets.
