ME DICEN QUE FABRIZIO ROMANO COMPARTE LO QUE HA ESCUCHADO SOBRE LA ESTRELLA DEL LEEDS UNITED QUE SE UNIÓ AL REAL BETIS

Real Betis are eyeing a move for Leeds United’s Mateo Joseph in the summer window.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who say Real Betis had explored the possibility of signing the striker in the winter market.

They ended up signing Cucho Hernández and will return for the Leeds player after this season.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side will play their last game of the season against Chelsea in the UEFA Conference League final on May 28th.

The report states the La Liga club plan to hold talks with the Whites for the 21-year-old’s transfer as soon as they finish this season.

Joseph scored three goals and registered three assists from 41 games in all competitions for the Championship winners.

Los Verdiblancos believe the Spain U21 international has a bright future ahead and will ‘pursue his signing’ in the upcoming window. It won’t be easy for them to take him away from Leeds, who have already secured a promotion to the Premier League.

Joseph’s contract is until 2028, and Mundo state Real Betis are set for tough negotiations with Daniel Farke’s side.

There should be more updates on this case once the Spanish club contact Leeds in the coming days.
