Gibs white posted something about Nuno Espírito Santo and immediately deleted – he’s not the only person to have raised the point

Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White recently posted, then deleted, a social media comment criticizing match officials after his team’s defeat to Manchester United. He highlighted perceived inconsistencies in officiating by comparing Casemiro’s allowed goal against Forest to Virgil van Dijk’s disallowed goal in the Carabao Cup final, suggesting similar situations were judged differently.

This incident isn’t isolated. Earlier in the season, during a match against Brighton & Hove Albion, Gibbs-White received a second yellow card and was sent off. Following his dismissal, both he and manager Nuno Espírito Santo were charged by the FA for improper conduct towards match officials.

These events underscore ongoing tensions between Nottingham Forest personnel and match officials, reflecting broader concerns about refereeing standards in football.
