DECLAN RICE CARES MORE ABOUT WEST HAM THANS US’ – ANGRY ARSENAL FANS ERUPT AT UNSEEN FOOTAGE

Arsenal were handed a serious blow to their Premier League title aspirations on Saturday (22 February) when they were defeated 1-0 by West Ham United.

 

Jarrod Bowen’s 44th-minute goal was enough to separate the two teams as the Gunners failed to find the back of the net.

Myles Lewis-Skelly also put Arsenal under further pressure when he was sent off in the 73rd minute, creating an uphill battle for his teammates towards the end of the game.

The result left the Gunners trailing Liverpool by eight points in the Premier League table, with both teams having played 26 games.

Fans took aim at Martin Odegaard for his performance, claiming the Arsenal captain should be stripped of his armband.

 

Arsenal will look to get back to winning ways immediately when they play against third-placed Nottingham Forest, who are currently just six points behind them.

Declan Rice struggled to make an impact against West Ham

Declan Rice struggled against his former club, with Mikel Arteta opting to bring him off after 56 minutes.

 

The midfielder only made 37 touches throughout the game, while he failed to make a single successful tackle.

Rice’s long balls were only 67 percent accurate, which was the same for his attempted crosses as well.

Arsenal fans called out Rice for his individual performance after footage of him being frustrated at being substituted emerged.

 

Supporters claimed he never performs well when playing against the Irons, calling his efforts “useless.”

 

The England international played for West Ham from 2015 to 2023 when he made the move to the Emirates Stadium, in that time he made 245 appearances for the club.
