I’ve got a feeling’ – Alasdair Gold is hearing whispers of Spurs deal with a ‘big company’

Alasdair Gold reveals that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to announce a technology partnership with a big tech firm soon.

Tottenham are looking for investment

It has long been an open secret that Spurs are on the lookout for investors, with various reports revealing over recent months that a minority takeover is on the cards.

Just last week, TBR Football claimed Daniel Levy is working to attract investment to the club sooner rather than later, with the Spurs chairman eyeing a cash injection of around £750m, which the club hope to funnel into various capital expenditure projects.

The report added that several American private equity firms have explored a move for Tottenham, including MSP Sports Capital, who reportedly conducted due diligence with a view to a full takeover.

Are Spurs about to announce a big tech deal?

Gold has revealed that an agreement is soon expected from the club regarding a tech partnership, with the journalist suggesting that talks are ongoing with a big firm and predicting that the deal will go through.

He said on his YouTube channel: “I’ve got a feeling that there’s some like a tech deal in the pipeworks that’s coming for Spurs this month. Like a tech partner deal.

“Like quite a big company that doesn’t normally do this sort of stuff, so we’ll see what comes of that. I don’t know whether that’s like a financial boost.

“I think it’s more just to do with the tech they’re using so it’s not particularly exciting, but it was just something I keep hearing about and I don’t know who it is with yet. But I think it’s just with a big, big company.”

Gold has not revealed anything here and it is not clear what kind of deal this will be or whether it would be a lucrative one. But it is an intriguing update and it is worth watching this space closely.
