Having displayed some of their progress this summer against Hearts on Wednesday, Tottenham Hotspur are now really pressing on.
Ange Postecoglou stated his strong ambition at the end of last season, words which felt like a bit of a warning at the time.
But the Spurs boss was simply attempting to inspire change in N17, not content with the status quo.
And if Archie Gray’s arrival is anything to judge by, Tottenham’s decision-makers are listening.
Spurs beat strong competition to the 18-year-old, and Gray has taken no time to justify Tottenham’s decision.
That being said, Johan Lange can’t stop there, and will still need to improve Postecoglou’s options offensively.
Spurs’ attacking department needs a revamp, one that would ideally be inspired by Richarlison’s departure.
But either way, CaughtOffside are now reporting that Tottenham are advancing in moves to sign two Premier League forwards.
Postecoglou can’t simply rely on Son Heung-min for goals next season, he needs added fire power, and both Eberechi Eze and Pedro Neto could provide it.

In truth, most Tottenham fans would imagine that it will be either Eze or Neto – not both.
But according to the report, Spurs are looking at a potential double deal for the Premier League duo, and have already begun contact talks.
Tottenham have spoken to the agents of Eze and Neto and have received information regarding their respective salaries and further information to eventually complete a deal.
Therefore, it seems as if both arrivals will depend on Daniel Levy’s side agreeing a fee for the duo.
TBR Football shared earlier in the summer that Tottenham had made an enquiry for Eze in particular, someone they wouldn’t hotly pursue until the Euros had ended.
But with Spurs now starting their pre-season in exceptional fashion, it seems like the ideal time to add a player of Eze or Neto’s quality to their attack.
Of course, as is the case with all clubs in the era of PSR, Tottenham may need to sell players before making a move.
And although he’s often been linked with an exit this summer, Postecoglou’s words on Djed Spence’s future were particularly interesting after his Hearts showing.
