Paul Robinson has insisted that Harry Kane would never consider moving to Chelsea and backed the striker to stay at Bayern Munich for the foreseeable future.
While Kane has been individually brilliant since his move to the Bavarian club last summer, it has been a difficult season for Bayern, who look on course to miss out on the Bundesliga title for the first time in over a decade.
There are now some murmurs that the former Tottenham man is not happy at Munich and that he could greenlight a return to the Premier League next summer.
This was a claim that was made by Football Insider earlier this week, with the outlet stating that Chelsea are keeping tabs on the 30-year-old’s situation.
The publication asserted that Mauricio Pochettino wants to add a top-class number nine to his squad and would love to reunite with Kane at Stamford Bridge.

However, Robinson expects the striker to remain committed to Bayern and the former Spurs goalkeeper rejected the idea that the England captain would join the Lilywhites’ London rivals.
When asked about the Blues’ interest in Kane, the pundit told Football Insider: “He’d never go to Chelsea. Kane’s only just gone to Bayern Munich – one of the biggest teams in Europe. They’re having a faltering season, but he’s having a great one and looks like he’s going to win the Golden Boot in the Bundesliga.
“They’re still in the Champions League – they’re only 1-0 down [to Lazio]. I don’t suspect Kane would want to reverse and go back to the Premier League after just one season. If he was to come back to England, I wouldn’t be hugely surprised if Tottenham had something in the deal to take him back.”

We know that Kane is not the sort of character to jump ship at the first sign of trouble. I fully expect the 30-year-old to remain at the Allianz Arena for at least three of four years before considering a Premier League return.
