Manor Solomon Is About to Tear Up the Championship — West Ham’s New No.10 Is Ready to Explode!
Forget everything you thought you knew about West Ham’s summer rebuild. The Hammers have just landed a player who already owns the Championship, and he’s ready to light it up all over again.
Manor Solomon is officially a West Ham player. The 27-year-old Israeli international has completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur on a three-year deal (with an option for a fourth), taking the iconic No. 10 shirt and arriving for a reported £5 million plus £2 million in add-ons. For a club relegated on the final day of last season and desperate for an immediate return to the Premier League, this could be the signing that changes everything.
Solomon isn’t some unproven prospect or a gamble. He’s a proven Championship destroyer. On loan at Leeds United in 2024-25 he delivered 10 goals and 12-13 assists in 39 league appearances as Daniel Farke’s side stormed to the title and promotion. Pace, close control, sharp movement, and an eye for the final ball — he terrorised second-tier defences then, and West Ham fans should expect more of the same.
His path to east London has been eventful. He broke through at Maccabi Petah Tikva, moved to Shakhtar Donetsk for a big fee and won three Ukrainian titles, scored against Real Madrid in the Champions League, and impressed on loan at Fulham with a run of goals in the Premier League. A permanent switch to Tottenham in 2023 promised big things, but a serious knee injury and limited opportunities followed. Loans to Villarreal and Fiorentina (where he scored twice in Serie A) kept him sharp, but regular football was always the priority. Now he’s got it — and the No. 10 shirt to match.
“I know West Ham have a rich history both in the Premier League and in Europe,” Solomon said after the deal was confirmed. “It’s a club that won a European trophy just three years ago, and I think this is where the club should be. Of course, our first task is to get promoted, to go back to the Premier League. I’ll try to give my all… I want to be here for a long time and I want to make the fans really happy.”
That’s the kind of hunger West Ham need. Relegated and rebuilding under Nuno Espírito Santo, the club has already added Keiber Lamadrid and Joel Veltman this summer. Solomon is the attacking spark — a creative, hard-working winger who can play on either flank or through the middle and loves both scoring and assisting. Director of Player Recruitment Nils Koppen called him exactly the type of “creative, exciting and versatile” player the side required for the promotion push.
The Championship is brutal, physical and relentless. Solomon already knows that. He thrived in it once. At 27, still in his prime and with European experience across Ukraine, England, Spain and Italy, he arrives with something to prove and a platform to do it. Tottenham never quite unlocked him. West Ham are handing him the keys.
Expect the dribbles that leave full-backs on the floor. Expect the cut-backs and through-balls that create chaos. Expect a player who has already shown he can be one of the most decisive attackers in this division. West Ham’s new attacking threat is locked and loaded. The Championship has been warned — Manor Solomon is ready to make his mark, and the Hammers’ promotion charge just got a whole lot more dangerous.
