SHOCKING PLAYER WANTS OUT AND LEICESTER CITY FANS DRAG FAN FAVOURITE THROUGH THE MUD AFTER HIS PERFORMANCE AGAINST MAN CITY

Leicester City travelled to Manchester City in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
The Foxes went into this match with no hope of achieving a result at the Etihad Stadium and when Jack Grealish opened the scoring inside two minutes, they knew it was going to be a long night.
Manchester City then doubled their lead in the 29th minute after Mads Hermansen made a huge error, allowing Omar Marmoush to tap into the empty net.
Unsurprisingly, the barrage of attacks on Hermansen’s goal continued in the second half as Leicester were made to camp in their own half.
In what was another dismal night for City, here are five things we learned from Leicester’s 2-0 defeat against Manchester City.
Jamie Vardy is finished

Jamie Vardy led the line once more for Leicester on Wednesday, and it was a night to forget for the 38-year-old.
The Englishman made just eight touches in the first 45 minutes and registered zero attempts on goal while also picking up a yellow card.
Ruud van Nistelrooy hooked him at a half-time as a result, signalling an awful night for the veteran who sees his contract expire in the summer.
As it stands, it isn’t known whether Vardy will be offered a new contract but relegation could signal an unsavoury end to an incredible career at the King Power Stadium, leaving as a legend.

Mads Hermansen has one eye on transfer

Mads Hermansen has been a shining light for Leicester this term, even though the Foxes have struggled defensively.
On Wednesday night, however, the 24-year-old was at fault for Marmoush’s second goal, spilling the ball straight into his path with the goal gaping.
Hermansen has been scouted by Man United this term and perhaps his performance against Man City suggests he has one eye on a transfer.
Wilfred Ndidi isn’t good enough on the ball

If Leicester were to get anything from this game, winning the midfield battle was essential, and unfortunately, the Foxes were just outclassed.
Wilfred Ndidi is known for his ball-winning qualities but can often get caught in possession, and against City, he was dispossessed in his own half in the lead-up to Grealish’s goal.
The 28-year-old had to set the standard in midfield, but straight away, being too slow and laboured in possession allowed City to take the lead early on.

Ruud van Nistelrooy is lucky to still be in a job

Although Van Nistelrooy hasn’t been dealt the best hand since arriving in November, the Dutchman’s record makes for pretty grim reading.
The 48-year-old has lost 14 of his last 15 matches in the league, and in that run, Leicester have failed to score in their previous eight, which is woeful.
Leicester can’t afford to sack Van Nistelrooy after letting go of Steve Cooper earlier in the season, and while that is the case, it still doesn’t deflect from the fact he’s lucky to still be in a job.
The 5-3-2 experiment needs to be binned

In the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea, Van Nistelrooy experimented with a 5-3-2 formation, perhaps in an attempt to solidify his side defensively.
But Leicester have since lost 3-0 to Manchester United and 2-0 to Man City while offering zero attacking threat.
It’s become clear that Van Nistelrooy needs to stop using a five-man defence, as it’s not even improved his sides defensive record – and if anything – made it worse.
