Chelsea fans reacted to loanee Axel Disasi’s recent performance for Aston Villa after their loss to PSG.
Chelsea let the Frenchman leave on a straight loan to Villa during the January window, despite dealing with their own injury problems in defence at the time.
Unai Emery’s side beat out competition from Tottenham to secure Disasi, with Pau Torres and Tyrone Mings sidelined for spells due to injury.
Disasi initially made a strong start to life at Aston Villa, but his form has dipped in recent games –particularly when filling in at right-back.
He was brought on at half-time for Matty Cash during Villa’s 3-1 defeat to PSG in the Champions League, but his display sparked surprise from Chelsea supporters, many of whom questioned his performance during the second half.

The Frenchman was forced to cover at right-back after Cash’s lacklustre performance, but he also struggled against the explosiveness of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian scored a brilliant second goal for PSG, making it a night to forget for Disasi.
Kvaratskhelia picked up the ball on the left flank and drove straight at Disasi, who didn’t commit. That hesitation gave Kvaratskhelia time to cut inside onto his left foot with ease, sending Disasi to lose balance with a weak challenge before netting a stunning finish
Aston Villa fans were already against the idea of signing Disasi when the club was first linked with him, and this performance certainly won’t help change their minds
Despite this, Unai Emery has placed trust in his January signing, handing him six starts in nine appearances.

Enzo Maresca’s side have struggled at the back all season, hampered by injuries and inconsistent individual displays.
For instance, Chelsea supporters have even called for Wesley Fofana to be sold, frustrated by his constant injury setbacks. Meanwhile, Robert Sanchez’s errors in goal have only added to the discontent.
With competition for defensive places including Levi Colwill, Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah, it made sense for Disasi to pursue a loan move away
However, as it’s a straight loan with no obligation to buy, Disasi is expected to return to Chelsea – much to the disappointment of fans, especially in light of this latest showing.
Reacting to Kvaratskhelia’s goal, one fan said: “Disasi should never be seen in a Chelsea shirt again,” while another added: “Just look at Disasi… he shouldn’t come back to Chelsea
