ANTHONY ELANGA SHARES WHAT CHRIS WOOD HAS BEEN DOING THAT FANS DON’T SEE AT NOTTINGHAM FOREST, AND IT SPEAKS VOLUMES

Nottingham Forest have been in good form this season and are looking up after two flirtatious seasons with relegation.
The Reds narrowly avoided the drop last season. Forest were deducted four points for breaching PSR but still stayed up at the expense of Burnley with things officially confirmed on the final day of the season.
This season the Reds have kicked on and currently occupy third place in the Premier League with 13 games remaining of the 2024/25 campaign.
A large portion of the success has been down to the form of Chris Wood. He’s bagged 18 goals for Forest and has really kicked on after scoring 14 times last season in the Premier League.
Alan Shearer has raved about Wood. He’s been impressed with the player’s form despite the fact that he’s now 33-years-old and should be on the decline in fairness.
Instead, he’s a brilliant player and character in the Forest dressing room. Wood has now signed a new contract and will remain at the City Ground for another two years.Anthony Elanga makes Chris Wood claim

Elanga and Wood have been in fine form of late. The pair clearly enjoy playing alongside each other and Elanga has so often been the architect for many of Wood’s goals this season.
Against Brighton, Forest won 7-0 and Elanga registered three assists, with Wood claiming his second hat-trick in the Premier League for the Reds.
Elanga has heaped praise on Wood and it’s not necessarily just to do with his ability out on the football pitch, with the winger claiming he’s a brilliant influence behind the scenes.
He told Sky Sports: “First of all, he’s an amazing guy and a top footballer as well. Chris has been doing this a long time, he’s been scoring goals in the Premier League for a long time and he’s nearly on 100 now, he’s got that experience and he’s one of the oldest players in the squad and he’s someone you should listen to, I always do, he gives me some good advice and that’s why we’re playing so well together.”
Elanga and Wood can lead Forest into Europe this season

The Reds have work to do in order to make European football a real possibility next season. However, with the team sat in third this feels like a really good chance to make something happen.
Nuno Espirito Santo has built a brilliant dressing room at Forest. The spirits seem to be extremely high and both Elanga and Wood are pivotal pillars under the head coach.
Elanga has really kicked on this season since scoring his maiden goal of the campaign against Aston Villa back in December.
He’s scored three goals and laid on eight assists from 27 appearances, with the player really showcasing his worth to the Forest team after a slow start during 2024/25.
Together with Wood, the pair could lead Forest to glory this season and ensure a truly memorable campaign for the club’s supporters.
