Tottenham are now intent on bolstering their attacking line-up this summer, with Wolves’ Pedro Neto being a key target.
The Portuguese winger’s agent is actively pursuing a transfer from Wolves, aiming to secure a move to a club with greater ambitions during the current transfer window.
Former Tottenham striker Robbie Keane has expressed strong support for signing the Wolves winger.
Despite being under contract until June 2027, Neto is likely to leave Wolves if a substantial offer is presented.
Neto demonstrated considerable potential last season, even though he endured injury setbacks that sidelined him for a total of four months due to hamstring issues.
In 24 appearances across the Premier League and FA Cup, he scored three goals and provided 11 assists, underlining his influence on the pitch.
Keane believes that acquiring Neto would be a tactical move for Spurs, given his talent and game-changing abilities.
He also stated that signing Neto would be a fantastic addition to the squad and would undoubtedly excite the fans.
Keane has also previously recommended signing Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, who he believes perfectly fits Tottenham’s style.
He suggests that bringing in both Neto and Eze would greatly enhance Spurs’ attacking ranks and align with the club’s ambitions.
Speaking exclusively to The Boy Hotspur Substack, Keane said:
“Tottenham have also been linked with Pedro Neto, who I would sign straight away, and Eberechi Eze, who I said they should sign four years ago. I think he’s a real Tottenham player. They are both really exciting players and I think the fans would be very happy if they got both of them.”
As the Lilywhites look to strengthen their squad, adding Neto would bring a dynamic and creative presence to the wings. With his proven track record and potential for growth, Neto could play a crucial role in helping Spurs achieve their goals for the upcoming season.

Eze enjoyed a superb season that saw him called into the England team for EURO 2024, and some impressive performances on the national stage saw the Three Lions venture all the way to the final where they were beaten by Spain in the dying minutes of normal time in Berlin. Nonetheless, plaudits have fallen Eze’s way; though Bridges has claimed that a move away is no closer just yet.
Eberechi Eze Has Been Linked With Palace Exit

Eze was linked with a move to Manchester City last summer, but those links were quashed with the Eagles wanting £70million for his services after a stellar campaign at Selhurst Park.
Another superb season, however, saw him break his goalscoring record for the South London club in the Premier League with 11 strikes, and with Palace firing on all cylinders under Oliver Glasner, they were primed for a big season next time out.
However, Michael Olise’s sale means that the spine of their attacking team is starting to be torn apart; and Eze could be next. He reportedly has a £68million release clause, and that has seen Tottenham take an interest alongside Desire Doue – though there is nothing doing just yet.
Speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, Bridge stated that whilst there was interest from the ‘Big Six’ duo in Eze’s services, there is nothing as of yet – and that the midfielder could be best off staying at Selhurst Park. He said:

Ange Postecoglou witnessed first-hand how his side collapsed after ten games when James Maddison and Micky van de Ven were sidelined.
So, it’s paramount that Tottenham, at a minimum, bulk up their squad because Postecoglou will need to dig deep.
The London club haven’t really replaced Harry Kane following his exit last summer, with Son Heung-min and Richarlison leading the line last season.
Sources have told HITC Tottenham’s transfer stance on Toney, with the player keen to leave and with only 12 months remaining on his contract.
But that number nine isn’t the only player Spurs need because they also need to bulk up their attacking wide areas.
Darren Ambrose is excited by the prospect of the players coming in when he was discussing how Toney is needed at Hotspur Way.
The name of Italy international Federico Chiesa was mentioned, with sources telling HITC that Spurs have held talks with Chiesa.
Another name that Ambrose dropped was Wolves winger Pedro Neto, who has endured several injury problems at Wolves – Sources have told HITC what Wolves are set to demand for Neto with Tottenham keen.
And the former midfielder also added that Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze would be a ‘sensational signing’, as he told talkSPORT (27/07/24 at 3:15 pm).

“With Ange Postecoglou and the way he plays, maybe a couple of others (alongside Toney),” said Ambrose.
“There is the rumour mill left, right and centre. Eberechi Eze potentially, Pedro Neto and Chiesa. With Spurs, you have to get the best out of Son and he needs to play out on the left. You can’t use him as a number nine.
The former midfielder then added later on: “Any player associated with Crystal Palace, I want to stay at Palace, unless it’s going to Tottenham. He (Eze) would be a sensational signing. And Ivan Toney, we have spoken about him.”
Tottenham need to bring in proven quality
All of the above players are proven, with three of them being top performers in the Premier League, so this is something Spurs should push for.
Postecoglou’s style of play is all action, on the front foot, 100 miles per hour, direct and fearless.
Players like Neto would fit right in, the only issue is his injury record. Toney is looking for that jump up and Spurs could be the place for him.
James Maddison needs someone to dance with and Eze would provide that, whilst Chiesa has the experience of playing for a giant like Juventus and he would fit in at Hotspur Way.
