There will be mixed emotions from Celtic fans following the conclusion of the first leg of their Champions League showdown against Bayern Munich.
Celtic suffered a 2-1 defeat to Bayern in the play-off clash at Parkhead on Wednesday night and now they have it all to do for the return leg in Munich.
On transfer deadline day, Brendan Rodgers reunited with Jeffrey Schlupp after he signed from Leicester City until the end of the campaign, as he came in to provide cover and competition for Greg Taylor at left-back.
Despite the arrival of Schlupp, who made his debut against Dundee last week and earned his first start in the Scottish Cup over the weekend, Rodgers opted to bring Taylor back into the XI.
There has been a lot of noise around the 27-year-old this season, with his contract expiring in the summer and Kieran Tierney set to re-join from Arsenal on a free transfer
Unfortunately for Taylor, he became the talk of the Celtic fans during the game and he will want to look away now regarding what the faithful had to say.

It was a flat opening from Celtic, putting aside Nicolas Kuhn’s strike inside the opening minute being ruled out for offside.
But Bayern did have their chances, before Michael Olise scored a killer goal on the stroke of half-time when he got on the inside of Taylor, before curling his effort into the near corner.
There was a bit of fortune with the goal because it bounced off Taylor when Olise tried to come inside and control it on his left foot.
But the defensive work of Taylor didn’t go down well with some fans and the name of Tierney was quickly ringing around social media.
There was a sense of fortune for the opening goal, as @pauln1984 wrote: ‘He was unlucky with the ball bouncing back off the Bayern lad but it’s really no surprise that it was Taylor being isolated with a high ball that opened us up. This is why everything should have been done to get Tierney in’.

Strong words from @Sondog67, as he stated: ‘Greg Taylor will always be our weak point in Europe, constantly targeted and clear to see why. Doesn’t happen if you keep Valle… Doesn’t happen if you brought in Tierney… Doesn’t happen if you start Schlupp… Doesn’t even happen if you give Bernebei a pint before the game…’
