Paulo Bernardo was forced off injured for Celtic vs Raith Rovers
Following a challenge in the middle of the park, Paulo Bernardo pulled up and hit the deck clutching his lower leg.
Club medics checked in on the Portuguese midfielder as he hobbled off the pitch to be assessed further.
Unfortunately for the playmaker, 23, he could not run it off and had to be replaced on 36 minutes.
It was Reo Hatate who came on for his teammate.
Bernardo had started well for his side in the game at Celtic Park and was the man to thank for teeing up pal Maeda for the opening goal of the game.
His smart pass to square for the Japanese frontman – being played up top in Adam Idah‘s stead – and he tucked the ball home beyond goalkeeper Joshua Rae.
The same attacker then doubled his tally before the break to provide a more comfortable at half-time.

Bernardo will be praying his issue is not a bad one with manager Rodgers expected to offer an update at full-time.
He has managed three goals and three assists this term so far from 35 outings and would have hoped to be available when Vincent Kompany’s troops come to Scotland in Euro competition.
The Bundesliga giants are excited for the clash with Kompany hailing “special” Celtic fans for the atmosphere they can create.
