Vladimir Coufal will not be allowed to leave West Ham United before the end of the season, according to Sean Whetstone.
The Hammers insider reported via his West Ham Football X account (5 February) that the Hammers would “reject” any approach made for the right back that was made, calling rumours he could depart as “ridiculous”.
The report also added that Graham Potter’s men rejected an offer from Fulham on deadline day.
“Absolute rubbish! Club rejected bids from Fulham on deadline day and would reject any approach from any Turkish clubs whose transfer window is still open,” Whetstone wrote.
“The suggestion that Coufal is unsettled at West Ham is equally ridiculous, anyone who saw him on Monday night at Chelsea would know he bleeds West Ham.
“He ran over to Potter several times in the game to give feedback on the game which he then passed instructions from the manager to other players, and he is the first to applaud West Ham away fans after the final whistle.

Although Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be Potter’s first-choice right-back once all of his injured defenders return, it still feels like the 32-year-old has a lot to offer the Hammers.
Indeed, there have been times when his actions have frustrated fans and perhaps even cost the club some points but he is still a solid choice at full-back.
If an offer had come earlier in the window when Potter would have had enough time to source a replacement, a deal would have potentially made sense but especially out of the window, it feels like Englishman would be hindering his squad for no reason.
He may not be the best full-back in the Premier League but each time he puts on the Claret and Blue kit, he seems to want to give his all which is a talent in itself.
For now, they should keep hold of him but in the summer, if they can find someone younger to replace him, that’s when a transfer should be considered.
