Tottenham fans have called Ange Postecoglou a “disgrace” after footage emerged of him confronting a fan as he headed down the tunnel following their latest defeat.

Spurs were beaten 2-1 against Premier League strugglers Leicester City at home on Sunday (26 January), with fans being frustrated after witnessing their team throw away a one-goal lead.

This was Tottenham’s 13th defeat of the season in the Premier League, with the club currently 15th in the table after 23 games.

Supporters voiced their frustration after the final whistle by booing the team and Postecoglou, with many pushing for him to be sacked.

As Postecoglou headed down the tunnel he received verbal abuse, with one fan telling the 59-year-old that, “We’re going down with you.”

The Tottenham boss ended up going back up the tunnel to look for the fan, but he was pushed away by a member of his coaching team before the situation escalated.

Tottenham fans are furious with Ange Postecoglou

Spurs fans were unimpressed by the clip and the manner in which Postecoglou behaved, labelling it a “headloss.”

Others stated that they think he’s “going to walk” as some supporters claimed the manager has “no class whatsoever.”

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has found himself at the center of controversy following an incident in the tunnel during a recent match against Tottenham.
