Brighton player now out of training as he awaits a club to sign him

Brighton & Hove Albion’s Valentín Barco has been on loan at Sevilla since last summer and the temporary move hasn’t worked out well for anyone involved.
The left-back has clocked in 466 minutes from nine games of which only 36 minutes came since September.

Over the past few months, the Spanish media have repeatedly discussed the possibility of cutting short his loan stay in the winter market. Last week, both Diario de Sevilla and ABC Sevilla stated the Brighton man could leave the club this month.
Three days ago, Sevilla sporting director Victor Orta said the Seagulls are in talks with several clubs for Barco and are expected to make a decision soon.

Friday’s edition of Diario de Sevilla brings the latest on 20-year-old’s departure from the Andalusian club.

On Saturday, the La Liga side will face Girona in the league and the report claims they are training without Tanguy Nianzou and the Argentine. The 22-year-old centre-back is absent due to an injury while Barco is waiting to find a new team to end his loan spell at Sevilla.

The Brighton man needs to find a solution quickly as he hasn’t made an appearance since November.
