Leicester City should be looking to strengthen their squad in the upcoming transfer window.
Leicester City return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon against Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Foxes have moved four points clear of the relegation zone after Wolverhampton Wanderers lost on Tuesday and they beat West Ham United earlier in the week.
But despite Ruud van Nistelrooy having a dream start to life as Leicester manager, many problems still remain at the club.
One of the issues that need addressing sooner rather than later is the fact Abdul Fatawu is now out for the rest of the season.
Fatawau has been a key figure in the early stages of 2024/25 and his absence has weakened Leicester offensively.
Now though, Van Nistelrooy could return to one of his former clubs to solve that woe.
Ruud van Nistelrooy urged to sign player he knows well for Leicester City
Reports last month claimed that Mathys Tel is of interest to Leicester amid Bayern Munich looking to send the young winger out on loan.
But Van Nistelrooy could now turn to one of his former clubs, PSV Eindhoven, to strengthen the Foxes.
The Dutchman only spent one year with the Eredivisie outfit but was able to guide them to a second-place finish and win two domestic cups.
Now, speaking live on talkSPORT, Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan stated that Ruud should look to sign Ismael Ismael Saibarifrom PSV in one of the upcoming transfer windows.
He said: “He [Ismael Saibari] is, at the moment, by far the top player [at PSV[.
“He is a player who I can see Ruud going for at some stage in this season or at the end of the season if things go well, or he is given the money. Because he is a player he has worked with before and who is an absolutely top, top talent in Europe.”
