Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill ahead of the January transfer window, according to TBR Football.
The report (20 November) states that the Hammers are one of several clubs to have expressed an interest in Brownhill with Leeds United, Celtic and Brighton also keen.
Brownhill finds himself out of contract at Turf Moor in June 2025 with the club unable to agree fresh terms with the midfielder and Burnley may look to cash in on him during the January transfer window.

Having made 382 league appearances in English football Brownhill has a wealth of experience albeit mainly at the lower level. 111 of those appearances have been at Premier League level with the Clarets in what was a relatively poor squad.
His versatility in midfield is likely to be something that the Irons have considered with him able to play anywhere although his strongest position is as a box-to-box midfielder.
It has been a poor campaign for the Hammers so far but the squad has an abundance of talent and the addition of an experienced head in midfield could prove to be a masterstroke at the London Stadium.
With quality players around him, Brownhill could thrive at West Ham and provide something completely different to what the current crop of midfielders offer.
If West Ham are to complete a deal, they will have to fight off some serious competition to do so, with Saudi Arabian clubs also reported to be sniffing around ahead of a potential swoop.
Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham.
The 19-year-old has been a key player for them in the Championship and his performances have attracted the attention of the top clubs. According to a report via London World, Tottenham are looking to sign the player and they could face competition from West Ham United as well
Recently, Football Insider has claimed that Sunderland will place a “huge price tag” on the player and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham are ready to break the bank for him. Jobe is quite highly rated across Europe like his brother Jude Billingham, and he could be a future star for Tottenham.
The North London club could certainly use more quality and depth in the middle of the park and the 19-year-old will add creativity and goals to the side.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League could be quite exciting for the young midfielder, and he will feel that it would be the ideal next step for him. He will look to continue his development with regular football in the English top flight. Tottenham could nurture him into a quality Premier League midfielder and help him fulfil his tremendous potential.
It will be interesting to see if they follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign the player at the end of the season. Sunderland will certainly make it difficult for the North London club to get the deal done and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.
