Ange Postecoglou has named his Tottenham squad for the summer tour to Japan and South Korea and it’s a big group of players.
The Australian has decided that 31 players will make the trip to Asia, with a stars in the making and a few players who have been nursing injuries but could play a part at some point over the next two weeks, including the likes of Richarlson, Ben Davies and Destiny Udogie
Plenty of young players have made the cut, including Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear, Tyrese Hall and George Abbott among others in the big squad, along with summer arrivals Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Timo Werner.
Fraser Forster is not part of the squad and continues his rehabilitation at Hotspur Way from a fractured foot. Rodrigo Bentancur, Giovani Lo Celso, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven will rejoin the squad closer to the start of the season after representing their countries in the latter stages of the Cops America and Euro 2024.
Bryan Gill and Sergio Reguilon are not part of the travelling party and have been granted permission not to travel in order to explore prospective transfer opportunities.
Spurs face Vissel Kobe at the National Stadium in Tokyo on July 27 (11am UK time) before travelling to South Korea to first take on Team K-League at the Seoul World Cup Stadium On July 31 (12pm UK time. Tottenham finish off their tour with a game against Bayern Munich in Seoul on August 3 (12pm UK time), before returning to N17 to face Bayern again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 10.
