After the match, the future of Hotspur boss ange was the talk of the town but the club have since come out and backed their manager publicly.

“In terms of the contract, that was a decision that was taken prior to both of our arrivals. But we’re very happy with that decision.”
Just two days after the dismal defeat, it has been claimed that Hotspur are set to sanction a huge departure in their footballing structure.

Under-fire Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou’s future is not in danger at the club despite some underwhelming results lately.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham are not planning to sack Ange Postecoglou despite the Australian coming under tremendous pressure recently. The club will continue to support the first team manager as they firmly believe he has the tools to bring the team to a reasonable level and compete with the other challengers.
Tottenham continue to bemuse their fans with surprising results that have been baffling at best. After a mixed start to the season, it’s become very clear that Spurs cannot be trusted to deliver in games they are expected to win big.
During the current campaign, Spurs have managed to beat Manchester United and Aston Villa but also suffered losses to Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town. The latter came in last weekend on home soil and delivered a clinical performance to down Spurs’ hopes of a comeback.
In fact, the Palace and Ipswich defeats have been significant because those two teams have not won in any of their other league games, barring Spurs. Losing at home to Ipswich saw the fans booing the team at full-time, which may have brought the pressure back on Postecoglou.
Despite suggestions that Postecoglou could be replaced imminently, there’s a wider question about who might replace the Australian. The 53-year-old has been a big presence in their dugout, and he has the team playing exciting, attacking football after some strenuous tenures under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
