Roy Keane says West Ham Fans Favorite is NOT worth over £100 million in scathing review, he didn’t hold back

Roy Keane says west Ham ‘paid way too much’ for Bowen in a damning assessment ahead of the new season .
West Ham may shelled out a club-record £105 million to lure Bowen away from West Ham United this summer.
They pipped Manchester City to the signing of the England international, with the player starring in the Premier League since making his break through at The Hammers.
He’s already impressed Manchester city fans on the 2023/24 campaign as Bowen delivered a stellar showing on his debut against the MLS all-stars last season
The 24-year-old continued to enhance his reputation following his showing against tough team, where he played in a more advanced role.
His outing against the Dutch side showed his versatility as he looked very comfortable playing as an
‘attacker’.
But former Manchester United captain Keane believes the city ‘has submit too much’ for him and claims he’s ‘not worth over £100 million’.
Speaking on ITV, he said: “They paid way too much for him! He’s certainly not worth over £100 million!”
It’s not the first time Keane has taken aim at the star striker as he bemoaned his lack of goals and assists last season.
Bowen enjoyed last seasons at West Ham, making 105 appearances for the club.
After guiding the club to European glory

West Ham United will demand at least £100 million to sell Newcastle United target Jarrod Bowen as they look to thwart his suitors this summer.
According to a report by Football Insider, Jarrod Bowen is the subject of interest from Newcastle United. The Magpies view the English international as their top target to bolster the right-wing berth in the summer transfer window. However, West Ham United will demand at least £100 million to sell the player, who does not want to leave the East London club.

The rise and rise of Jarrod Bowen
Jarrod Bowen has established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League since joining West Ham United from Hull City in January 2020. A native of Leominster, he began his youth career at his hometown club, Leominster Minors. However, the Englishman graduated from the youth division at Hereford United before rising in prominence at Hull City.
The 27-year-old has been a talismanic figure for West Ham United in the last four and a half years. Bowen has turned out over 200 times thus far for the East London club while amassing 60 goals and 39 assists. Meanwhile, the player’s progress at West Ham United has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs.

Jarrod Bowen’s next move will likely come within the Premier League, with several high-profile clubs, including Liverpool, keeping tabs on his progress. However, widespread reports have most heavily linked the England international with Newcastle United heading into the summer transfer window.
Newcastle United interest in Bowen
Newcastle United’s interest in Jarrod Bowen is understandable. The Magpies have been scouring the market for a right-sided wide attacker heading into the summer transfer window amid uncertainties surrounding the long-term future of Miguel Almiron.

Bowen has thus emerged as a viable target for Newcastle United. However, West Ham United do not want to entertain any offers for the English attacker and have set a price tag of at least £100 million to part ways with their prized asset. However, the valuation aims to thwart Bowen’s prospective suitors instead of inviting nine-figure bids for him.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Englishman does not want to leave West Ham anytime soon as he is happy and content at the London Stadium. So, Newcastle United must look elsewhere to bolster the right-wing berth in the summer transfer window.
