Dejan Kulusevski issues four-word update on his Tottenham future amid Antonio Conte Napoli links

Dejan Kulusevski has opened up on his Tottenham future amid speculation regarding a summer switch to Napoli who look set to appoint former Spurs boss Antonio Conte in the hotseat

Dejan Kulusevski has indicated that he will be staying at Tottenham this summer. Following such a successful 18-month loan spell from Juventus, the Swede’s move was made permanent 12 months ago.

The 24-year-old was a regular in Ange postecoglou’s Spurs XI, starting 31 of his 36 appearances for the Lilywhites over the course of the campaign. After only scoring two goals the previous term, Kulusevski finished 2023/24 with eight goals to his name and also three as assist

Set to be a pivotal summer at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with incomings and outgoings expected to happen, Kulusevski has made it clear that he will be remaining in the N17. When asked by Swedish publication Aftonbladet (via Sport Witness) if he’s staying at Tottenham this summer, he said: “Yes, I think so.”

Kulusevski has been linked with a return to Serie A recently, With report from Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli suggesting that Napoli are plotting a move for the attacker. A potential move to Naples would see the Swede reunited with former Spurs head coach Antonio conte, who is set to be announced as Napoli’s new boss over the coming days.

Those transfer rumours were put to Kulusevski but he immediately played them down.

“I don’t know anything about that,” admitted the Stockholm-born player. “I have heard that Conte is going there. It will be fun to see him there, to see him back in football.”

A year of ups and downs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Kulusevski believes it was an “incredibly positive season” as Postecoglou and the team manage to secure a fifth place finish. On a personal level, the ex-Parma loanee believes he made “incredible strides” and improved in a number of different aspects.
