Tottenham fans immediately erupted into an Arsenal chant after Manchester City scored against them.
Erling Haaland put City ahead on 51 minutes, tapping home from a low cross.
The first half had been a tense one for City supporters, who know that they need a win to keep the pressure on Arsenal and put themselves on top of the table heading into the final day.
That pressure was relieved by Haaland’s goal against a side who are fighting for the top four places themselves – but need a win against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Spurs fans, though, have been in two minds over what result they would prefer tonight, given that a victory would help to secure a Premier League title for nearest rivals Arsenal.
Some fans behind the goal started chanting: “Are you watching, Arsenal?”
