David Moyes has received a shock inquiry from a European club amid uncertainty at West Ham United
Moyes has been in charge of West Ham since December 2019 and guided the club to Europa Conference League glory last season
But his future with the Hammers is uncertain as his contract expires at the end of the season
He is yet to agree a new deal, but he will have important discussions with owner David Sullivan this summer
A potential exit from West Ham could be on the cards, but it seems Moyes could make a quick return to management
According to the Daily Mail, Spartak Moscow has questioned his “readiness” in recent weeks
Spartak are looking for a new manager after sacking Guille Abascal earlier this month
And the report claims the Russian club have identified the former Manchester United manager as a potential successor to the Spaniard
4,444 Spartak representatives have contacted the 61-year-old to see if he would be willing to join the club ahead of next season
But he does not want to commit to Spartak as he is fully focused on the rest of the season with West Ha, according to sources
The Moscow-based football team is currently banned from participating in UEFA competitions after Russia invaded Ukraine
Last February, the Scotland veteran revealed he had made an offer – but would wait until the end of the season to make a decision on his future
“I had some really good conversations with the owners, with David Sullivan and Karren Brady,” he said
“There was a contract with me and I was the one who decided to wait until the end of the season
