I know him very well “: coach wouldn’t be surprised if 2024 signing left Tottenham for Euro giant

Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin has struggled for regular game time at the North London club.

He joined Tottenham last season in January, but he has not been able to establish himself as a regular starter yet. The Romanian needs to play more often at this stage of his career and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to provide him with that opportunity.
The 22-year-old is a talented defender who has proven himself in Italy over the years. His former coach Roberto Baronio has now revealed that it would not be surprising if the player decided to leave Tottenham for Napoli
Drăgușin at Napoli? It wouldn’t surprise me. He did very well in Italy, he was confirmed at Genoa, if he arrived at Napoli he would compete for the starting place. I coached him for a while, and I know him very well,” he said via Area Napoli.
He has been linked with the move to the Italian club in recent weeks. Napoli could use defensive reinforcements and the Romanian will certainly get more time with them. Furthermore, they are one of the biggest clubs in Italy and they managed to win the league title recently as well.
Can Tottenham afford to sell Radu Dragusin?
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to sanction his departure. They are already lacking in depth in the defensive unit and they should look to bring in another central defender. Letting Dragusin leave might not be a good idea. However, the player is likely to be frustrated if things do not improve in terms of game time. Keeping an unhappy player at the club could be a problem as well.

It will be interesting to see how Spurs deal with the situation. They must give him more opportunities so that he can prove his worth in English football. Sitting on the bench is unlikely to benefit him.
