PGMOL reveals their FINAL DECISION and VERDICT on controversial moment in Tottenham Win at the Tottenham stadium after fans blasts Referees and VAR for Bizzare error late into the game [Full Story]

Former Chelsea star Mark Schwarzer believes Tottenham Hotspur ‘just got over the line’ against a ‘relentless’ Everton. The Lilywhites beat the Toffees 2-1 during their game last night. An excellent showing for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Richarlison and Heung-min Son were phenomenal once again. The pair grabbed a goal each within 10 minutes to make it 2-0 for Tottenham. Andre Gomes fired back in the 82nd minute to get one on the board for Everton.

It was an overall fantastic game with plenty of big moments. Emerson Royal and Pedro Perro were amazing and excelled as fullbacks. Brennan Johnson was also a key player and ended up grabbing an assist for his team.
If we take a closer look at the stats the game seems closer than it does from a distance. Tottenham took 13 shots with six being on target. On the other hand, Everton took 18 with a whopping eight being on target (fot.mob).

Let’s have a look at what Schwarzer said about the game. (h/t BBC)

Both teams were really going for it and Everton were relentless.

They did not give up and had some good chances. Spurs had just enough to get over the line.

This beautifully sums up the entire game. Everton truly were relentless. If it wasn’t for the early lead that Postecoglou’s men took, this game could’ve gone either way. The Toffees also had more big chances (3) in comparison to the Lilywhites (2) (fot.mob).

No one was truly upset about the result of the game. Fans of both sides seemed to enjoy the highly competitive affair. However, Dominic Calvert-Lewin was upset because of an Everton goal that was disallowed due to VAR.
