“Ironically comments”Jurgen Klopp slams ange for making such comment

Jurgen Klopp launched into an attack on the referees after Liverpool were reduced to nine men in the dramatic 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday. Spurs, who had been ahead through Son Heung-min’s first half opener, left it until the 96th minute to claw out a victory after seeing their opponents go down to nine men.

The goal, Joel Matip firing in a cross from Pedro Porro into his own goal, was the least controversial of a set of moments in the game that Klopp described as “the most unfair circumstances and crazy decisions” when asked after the game.

Spurs were playing against 10 men from the 25th minute after Curtis Jones was sent off for a tackle on Yves Bissouma. Referee Simon Hooper had given an initial yellow card but was advised to reconsider his decision by VAR assistant Darren England.
