Sunday Afternoon DONE DEAL, Spotted in Manchester, Medicals today-Fabrizio Confirms Citizens to Announce Video of New SIGNING of World-class star, who once Destroyed Pep, Man City are Afraid Of Him

It has now been reported that Manchester City have offered to pay a £77.3 million fee to get a transfer over the line for Josko Gvardiol.

This comes from journalist Philipp Hinze, alongside Alexander Bonengel for breaking the story, after it was claimed that the 21-year-old had agreed personal terms with Pep Guardiola’s men.

Now, it seems like Manchester City could make Josko Gvardiol their most expensive addition till date after Jack Grealish.

Manchester City offer £77.3 million to complete Josko Gvardiol transfer

Branded as the ‘[Erling] Haaland of defenders’ by talent scout Jacek Kulig, the RB Leipzig sensation is truly one of, if not the most talented young centre-back in world football.

Since leaving Dinamo Zagreb to sign for the Bundesliga side, he has burst onto the scene for both club and country as the epitome of the modern-day central defender.

Now, it has indeed been revealed that Manchester City have officially offered a £77.3 million fee including bonuses to RB Leipzig for the sale of Josko Gvardiol.

In a follow-up tweet, Hinze claimed that Zagreb expect to bank a significant fee for their former player, with a sell-on clause in the deal.

As a result, a sizable deal could be in the works that could work for all parties involved.

Josko Gvardiol could already be the signing of the summer

If Josko Gvardiol does end up joining Manchester City, it is expected that a deal will be made official quite early into the transfer window.

It’s safe to say that the potential addition of the Croatian wonderkid could well be the signing of the summer.

Going by his ceiling, there is not a single trait, in terms of his defensive acumen, technical level or physicality that can be faulted.

And at just 21 years of age, Gvardiol has all the attributes to become the leader of City’s backline for the next decade.

While the treble-winners are likely to pay a huge fee to sign the youngster, they could reap the rewards off a deal that could eventually be viewed as an absolute bargain.
